Express Mobile Lube Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This privacy policy explains how Express Mobile Lube (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles information across three services. Each works differently, so each has its own section:
- The Express Mobile Lube mobile app for iOS and Android (the “App”)
- Our website, expressmobilelube.com (the “Website”)
- Our online booking system, operated for us by Urable (the “Booking System”)
Questions? Email [email protected].
Summary
- The App collects no personal data. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no location access, and no tracking of any kind.
- The Website uses Google Analytics to measure site traffic and receives information you choose to send through contact forms.
- The Booking System collects the information needed to schedule and perform your service. Urable operates it on our behalf.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites or to serve targeted advertising.
1. The Mobile App
The App does not collect, store, or share personal data. Specifically, it does not:
- require an account or login
- request your name, email, phone number, or any other contact information
- access your location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
- include analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising tools
- use your device’s advertising identifier or track you across other apps and websites
The App displays information about our services and locations, which it loads from our Website. As with any internet request, our web server receives standard technical details (such as an IP address) needed to deliver that content. We do not use this to identify or track you.
Booking links. When you tap a booking button, the App opens our Booking System in your device’s web browser. Anything you enter there is collected by the Booking System, not the App, and is covered by Section 3 below.
2. Our Website
Information you provide. If you contact us through the Website, we receive what you submit, such as your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, and message.
Google Analytics. The Website uses Google Analytics, which places cookies in your browser to collect usage information such as pages visited, time on site, browser and device type, approximate location (city level), and the site that referred you. We use this only to understand and improve how the Website performs. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can block these cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
3. Online Booking (Urable)
Our Booking System is provided by Urable, a third-party scheduling platform. When you book a service, you provide information such as:
- name, phone number, and email address
- service address
- vehicle details
- appointment details and service history
- payment information, processed by Urable and its payment processor (we do not receive or store your full card number)
We use this information to schedule and perform your service, send appointment confirmations and reminders, process payment, and keep service records for your vehicle. Urable’s handling of this information is also governed by Urable’s privacy policy.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information collected through the Website and Booking System to:
- schedule, perform, and bill for services
- respond to questions and support requests
- send service-related messages, such as confirmations and reminders
- understand and improve the Website
- prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations
5. How We Share Information
We share information only with:
- Service providers that operate our systems on our behalf, including Urable (booking and payments), Google (website analytics), and our website host
- Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights and safety
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold, merged, or transferred
We do not sell or rent personal information.
6. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including maintaining service records and meeting tax, accounting, and legal requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law; we will honor requests as required.
Because the App collects no personal data, there is no App data to access or delete. Uninstalling the App removes it from your device entirely.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Do-Not-Track Signals
No uniform standard exists for browser Do-Not-Track signals, so the Website does not currently respond to them. You can still control analytics cookies as described in Section 2.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted on this page.
